Uxbridge orders tend to arrive already organised. A graduation in July, a team leaving do on the Friday, someone’s 40th that’s been in the group chat since March. People here plan, and a baker who works to order suits that far better than a shop shelf does.

Lead time: all baking is done fresh for your date, so please allow 3 days minimum. For anything custom-designed, 3 to 7 days gives us room to do it properly.

A cake made properly tastes noticeably different from one made at volume, and most of that difference comes down to time. Ours are mixed in small batches, baked for the date they’re needed and finished by hand. Angie does the decorating herself, so what turns up in Uxbridge matches what was agreed, not a rough approximation of it.

The other half of the job is flavour, and flavour is where a lot of celebration cakes fall. Too sweet, too dry, or so heavily iced nobody gets past the first forkful. We balance the sponge against the filling and use ingredients worth using: proper butter, decent chocolate, fruit when it’s actually in season. If the design you have in mind won’t work with the flavour you want, we’ll tell you and offer a way round it. Browse the gallery to get a feel for what’s possible.

We cover UB8 and UB10, including Uxbridge town centre, Cowley, Hillingdon, Hillingdon Heath, Uxbridge Common and Ickenham. Orders are packed to survive the journey and delivered to a time you’ve agreed with us in advance, which matters when the cake is going to an office reception rather than a front door.
